Tropos Networks developed its own PWRP™ technology. It is a wireless mesh network router for the metro
scale. The area is connected with cable network so far, but it is not nesseccary anymore.
It can be enhanced to a wireless network and installed to anywhere as long as the power supply is secured.
The standard 802.11b/g offers a wireless connection to clients. A wirless network of metro scale can be also achieved.
Besides, the feature is to restore the network by self-organization/self recovery
function even when the trouble occurs in the router. |
